Party Princess (The Princess Diaries #7)
So glad I did this!Even though I had to sneak in the children's department of my local library, being all like "Pffff, what? I'm here just to grab a book for my baby sister!"(How could they know I didn't have one?)It's been years since I gave up on this series (as a 16y/o?), and even though I expected not to enjoy it at the age of 23 - I did!Just one thing: was Lily this horrible friend in previous books too? Not sure if I was too young and naive to realize what a b**** she is, or she turned
Err..I actually enjoyed the first 3 books of this serial. But this is getting kinda boring.. I love Meg Cabot's style, but she's turning into Danielle Steel, whose novels I find too static and predictable.
I'm on a roll with these audiobooks. I love this series so much.
Good, though I had 2 instances where the second-hand embarrassment factor was so awful I had to skip ahead a couple pages. Not my favorite of them. But very good. :)
I enjoyed this one so much more than the last two or three. Mia's starting to grow up and we're seeing that more. I'm also so in love with Mia and Michael.
Well, that was dumb. This is a bridge book that has to be read but God the plot is weak. If JP wasn't essential to the books after this I would have skipped it. And Mia is outright cringe worthy to read about in this one. See my entire binge read of this book and books 6-7 1/2 here.I think this book gets a bad rap.I can understand why it might get a little lackluster reviews though. At its face it might seem silly. Really, a musical about Genovia. But I think this is the book where the series

Representaion Supposing Books Party Princess (The Princess Diaries #7)
Princess just want to have fun . . . And Mia does too, despite the fact that the student government over which she presides is suddenly broke. But Grandmere's got a wacky scheme to raise the money, catapult Mia to theatrical fame, and link her romantically with an eligible teen bachelor who's not her boyfriend. No wonder Michael seems to think she's a psycho, or worse: not much fun. Is it possible that Mia, soon-to-be star of the stage, president of the student body, and future ruler of Genovia, doesn't know how to party?List Appertaining To Books Party Princess (The Princess Diaries #7)

Actual rating 3.5 stars---------I'm not in love with this book but it was still good. I want more substance and less superficial. I did like the addition of our newest character though. I realize these are supposed to be light and fluffy and fun, which they are, but I want to see Mia growing and maturing as she gets older, which hasn't happened thus far. Will be jumping into book 8 soon!So glad I did this!Even though I had to sneak in the children's department of my local library, being all like "Pffff, what?
