Description During Books Fatal Harmony (The Vein Chronicles #1)

I may be the villain of the story, but at least I get a leading role. Evil is a term thrown around history and literature as if it's something so easily definable. A concept to fight against. Evil doesn’t exist. Neither does ‘good.’ Vampires do, though. I just happen to be one. I’ve cruised through the centuries managing to avoid all the wars, supernatural and human, but still going to all the best parties. I would say I avoided bloodshed, but it’s kind of part of the whole ‘vampire’ thing. I’ve lived on the fringes of a society that considered cruelty and sadism favorable character traits for almost five hundred years. Now I'm in the middle of a war that might just put my nonbeating heart in a lot of danger. Battles, I can handle. The impossible attraction between me and the vampire slayer, not to mention the penetrating gaze of the king of our race, on the other hand? I might not get out undead.

Weigh Up Of Books Fatal Harmony (The Vein Chronicles #1)
I freaking LOVED this book!! Anne Malcom is soo talented!! I am totally in love with these characters. Isla is the most hated vampire in her entire race or so her family keeps telling her!! After many assassination attempts she is a strong sassy woman, who doesn't need any man to give her a hand! I loved Isla! She made the book for me, with her smart remarks and quick comebacks and the IDGAF attitude. Yeah she is definitely someone I would want to hang out with. Anne has written Isla beautifully

I absolutely loved this book! Anne Malcom took the paranormal world and made it totally her own... IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE! She didn't follow the sheep, carved her own path, and it's one of the thousand of reasons I fell in love with this book.Isla is the heroine you never thought existed. She's brilliant, sassy, and rocks her Jimmy Choos. Her attitude is classic and inspired. I can't wait for the next book in this series and highly recommend you dive in!

This book has absolutely everything I want in a PNR story and a whole lot more.Feisty, witty heroine ✅Hot alphas ✅Plenty of action ✅Smoking hot chemistry ✅Plenty of laughs, and quite a few tears ✅Fantastic dialogue ✅I could go on and on ....I devoured this book in one session and was left staring at the wall wondering what the hell happened after the final scene. I think Isla may be one of my favourite book characters ever Cannot wait for book 2

This book was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! If I could give it more than 5 Stars I would. It physically hurts that I have to wait for book two. I am thisclose to going all Kathy Bates alá MISERY on this author because I NEED answers dammit! I'm not above begging...just saying...Where do I begin? Really anything I write here won't come close to doing this book justice. The writing was PHENOMENAL. The World building EXCEPTIONAL. The character development FANTASTIC. The plot was COMPLEX and FAST PACED. Isla just

Suprisingly intrigued! All the catty banter did eventually get old but nice twist at the end kept me hooked. Definitely going to read book 2!

This book ends on a huge cliffhanger. I always check the ending before reading. I'm not going to read until the 2nd book is released. And if the 2nd book is expensive I'll just pass on the series.
