I have bought a hard copy of the book. With more than 700 pages it was too bulky to read it on a plane. However, this is probably the only flaw of the book. Well researched and written, it brings the reader to the heart of Sub-Sahara Africa explaining to the reader the last 150 years of history. As there are no many reliable written sources of early days of Belgium colonization of what is Democratic Republic of Congo now, the author brings affidavits from witnesses. I also like the authors
