Commentary As Books The Sands of Time

Four nuns find themselves suddenly thrust into a hostile world they long ago abandoned for the safety of the convent. Unwittingly they become pawns in a battle between the charismatic Jaime Miró, leader of the outlawed Basque nationalists, and the ruthless Colonel Ramón Acoca of the Spanish Amy. Four women - and the men they are forbidden to love. Megan - the orphan, who feels an overpowering attraction to Jaime. Lucia - the fiery Sicilian beauty on the run for murder - and Rubio Arzano, the freedom fighter who risks his life to save her. Teresa - whose guilty conscience finally drives her to betray her friends. Graciela - who bears a terrible secret that almost destroys her - and the courageous Ricardo who loves her. From the same author of the books "The Other Side of Midnight", "Rage of Angels", "Bloodline" and "Windmills of the Gods". The book is set in Spain and centres around four nuns and their unwitting involvement with outlawed Basque nationalists and the Spanish Army.

Assess Out Of Books The Sands of Time
Warning: Once you start you cannot stop, seriously. You have to make sure you're not in the middle of something (especially cooking, or in my case studying for exams). This is the very definition of page-turner brought to you by the master story teller himself. This is one of the best of Sidney Sheldon (the other one is The Master of the Game)! I finished it in one sitting, believe me. And it was midterms week, of all things! I think I went to bed at 4 am back then. I didn't regret it though. My

Either I am going to reallyyy regret my decision to read Mr. Sheldon or it might be the start of a beautiful love story! (starring me and his books) But keeping in mind my history with suspense/thriller chances are of latter.

"The difference between a patriot and a rebel depends on who is in power at the moment"I have no words how much I adore Sidney Sheldon and his books, and his brain, and his ideas, and his entire being. There will never be another Sidney Sheldon. Note that. THERE WON'T BE A STORYTELLER LIKE SIDNEY SHELDON EVER AGAIN.There is something inexplicable about his writing, which grips the reader from the beginning till the end, keeps the reader intrigued, letting them feel every single emotion. And how

The difference between a rebel and a patriot depends upon who is in power at the moment. Sidney Sheldon, Sands of TimeThe Sands of Time is an action-packed novel published in 1988 by the Master of Unexpected, Sidney Sheldon. The story is set 37 years after the Civil War in Spain or the Spanish Inquisition (which lasted from 1936-1939). Remember, that Civil War was one of the bloodiest civil wars in history. More than half people lost their homes and lives in the battles for power between the

Nice book with a sluggish start. Once it picks up pace its yet another incredible one from the famous author

The last time I rode over a Sheldon book was in March 2016. Two years since, to get back to the chill and excitement that Sheldon offers, was supposed to be more than refreshing. However, the pick could have been a better one, I now wish. For, Sands of time isnt anywhere near to an average thriller that he has ever written.A plot set up in Spain, revolving around the chase of an army officer behind a few outlawed Basque nationalists and four nuns, the author manages to speed up the pace of the

One of those, "Just one more chapter" books. The ending surprised me though.
