Chronicle Supposing Books Underworld (Underworld #1)

Based on the screenplay by Danny McBride. DEADLY RIVALS FOR CENTURIES, DESTINY WILL BRING THEM TOGETHER. Vampires and werewolves. Sworn enemies for over nine hundred years, they have fought a secret war in the darkest shadows of the mortal world, pitting undead strength and cunning against feral rage and savagery. Now, in the hip Gothic streets of modern-day Budapest, the ancient conflict takes an unexpected new twist. Selene is a Death Dealer, a vampire warrior dedicated to the destruction of the hated lycans. Michael is a werewolf, an innocent American newly infected with the lupine curse. Criticize Epithetical Books Underworld (Underworld #1)
I'm a really big fan of the Underworld series in general, so perhaps my review is a tad bit biased. I normally do not enjoy novelizations of films. For the most part, they feel really bland and offer nothing to the characters or the stories from the films. But this book was a pleasant surprise. The writer offered much more insight to the characters and their thoughts, as novelizations should. I really enjoy the chemistry between Michael and Selene, so the fact that the attraction and the

This is another of the three books I've been unable to stop reading till the end. It was absolutely thrilling and engrossing. Non-stop action.

Really good book, gives so much more than the movie (as is usually the case)

This is a solid novelization with little interesting tidbits I didn't know simply from watching the movie. I can either like or really dislike a novelization. I guess it depends on the film that the novelization is typically based on. Yet I feel I will enjoy Rise of the Lycans a lot more. But it was, like I said, a solid read.

This may be an adaption of the Underworld series first film, but it was an enjoyable adaption. You can read it as an accompaniment to the film or as a stand alone novel, either way it still works. There's a couple of minor additions that Cox has added for reasons unknown to me (i.e lycan women and children which were absent from the film), and there is the occasional swear word.I thoroughly enjoyed as I have been a fan of the Underworld films since I was taken to see it with my father in 2003.

I absolutely love this book. It's one of my favorite vampire movies besides the BDB series that plays in my head. Lol
