Narration During Books Stay with Me (Wait for You #3)

At 21, Calla hasn’t done a lot of things. She’s never been kissed, never seen the ocean, never gone to an amusement park. But growing up, she witnessed some things no child ever should. She still carries the physical and emotional scars of living with a strung-out mother, Mona—secrets she keeps from everyone, including her close circle of college friends. But the safe cocoon Calla has carefully built is shattered when she discovers her mom has stolen her college money and run up a huge credit card debt in her name. Now, Calla has to go back to the small town she thought she'd left behind and clean up her mom’s mess again. Of course, when she arrives at her mother’s bar, Mona is nowhere to be found. Instead, six feet of hotness named Jackson James is pouring drinks and keeping the place humming. Sexy and intense, Jax is in Calla’s business from the moment they meet, giving her a job and helping her search for Mona. And the way he looks at her makes it clear he wants to get horizontal . . . and maybe something more. Before Calla can let him get close, though, she’s got to deal with the pain of the past—and some very bad guys out to mess her up if she doesn’t give them her mom.

3.8Weeeeeell, The Hot Guy Brigade. I did like that and all the Cam/Avery scenes. I was giggling like a little girl. Can we talk about how Jennifer is so proud of them? I mean THEY ARE THE CUTEST COUPLE IN COUPLEDOM.Now, getting back to the actual review.I remembered little about Calla so this was my first time liking her or hating her or whatever. I just don't know how I feel about this book. I didn't hate it at all and there were really good parts.Calla was annoying at times. I do get her. I

4 StarsCalla had the perfect life until a fire destroyed her and her family. While the physical scars are obvious, no one knows about the mental scars she keeps hidden. While she has met some great people she calls friends she has never opened up about her past, in fact she has been lying about it. Although, she feels guilty lying to her friends the most important thing is her three Fs: "Finish college.Find a career in the nursing field. Finally reap the benefits of following through on

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Summary  Calla has never really had the chance to live a life she has wanted to, but she has a "bucket list" of items she desperately desires to do. Calla has been working hard to forget her life previously to coming to college and the painful memories it brings. She is focusing on her nursing education and spending time with her friends. Friends that she tells no real truths about herself with. But when her past comes back to bite her

2.5-3 No Totes Ma Goats StarsWell I think the moral of the story here chitlens is Because the dead-beat mama story line just completely overwhelmed, consumed, and I felt took away from this book. Was this a drug story or a love story? But once again, I will digress lol. So this story focuses on Calla, who is Teresa Hamiltons BFF. Calla has had one heck of a messed up past, and the devastating impact of these circumstances has not only affected her emotionally but physically. Callas craptastic

3, I dont know where to begin starsI usually love Jennifers books. Im a major fan of this series, but something about Stay with Me just rubbed me the wrong way. It wasnt a bad book, but maybe I just wasnt in the right mood.First off, its VERY VERY VERY LONG. It took me about 6 weeks to read it. I kept on taking breaks during the boring parts.Yes, it was kind of boring. There are some good moments, but there are a lot of dragging parts.I also had an issue with the storyline. I couldnt get into it

4.5 Stars!! JLA is a master at writing New Adult. She does it so well. Stay with Me is the fourth book in her series and its actually one of my favorites. No one can top Cam and his cookies, but Jax was pretty damn close. Holy hot alpha male! This was not only sweet, steamy and funny, but it had some drama, grit and angst, too. Calla is friends with Teresa who is Cams little sister. Shes the quiet one. She has a past that she doesnt like to talk about. Its not been an easy life for her and shes
